The Edit menu displays Shortcut keys for the Cut, Copy and Paste commands. For example, the shortcut for Copy is Ctrl-C. This means that pressing "C" on your keyboard while simultaneously holding down the Ctrl key has the same effect as choosing Copy from the Edit menu.
